| Fly the world is a totally free web-based economy system designed to enhance virtual aviation. Supported and actively developed by the Aiena Development team, we provide a source of challenge and reward to flight simulation. Users in FTW can decide what path to take; Start an airline, join existing airlines, fly solo charter jobs, or fly as a freelancer on the diverse outsourcing maket. If one airline doesn't satisfy your need for aircraft diversity, there is no worry. Users have the freedom to join multiple companies, or do any combination of the types of flying that FTW offers.
We operate in a persistent economy, which means there is an added challenge for users. You earn virtual currency as you fly, earn licenses and type ratings for those planes, and chose what to spend that virtual income on. You can reinvest it in airlines, start your own operation, or buy your own personal planes.
GA & Private
Rent yourself a small GA-plane, pack some passengers, and take them where they want to go! After some time, you can even purchase your very own plane, but keep in mind, that you will have to maintain it.
Airport Agent
You can ask the airport agent or charter agent to look for people who would like to charter a flight. He will get back to you with some offers, with various routes and offerings.
Freelancer
Many airlines offer some of their flights, and planes on our job-market. You can fly many bigger planes here without having to own one.
Virtual Airline
An airline is the best way for you to go, if you bring some friends, and work together. If an airline is what you want to do, keep in mind, that running an airline is a lot of hard work, as you have to pay rent, manage your routes and also maintain your fleet!
We officially support all of the major flight sims, MSFS, XP, FSX, P3D.
