Hey X-Plane community! The Bushtalk Radio plugin for X-Plane 12 has been completely rebuilt as a native plugin — no more FlyWithLua required.
What is Bushtalk Radio?
Bushtalk Radio is a community driven platform featuring over 25,000 audio tours (in 5 different languages) covering destinations worldwide. Audio tours play automatically as you fly near each point of interest. We also have local radio stations you can tune into at any time, a discovery scanner for finding new POIs and local flora/fauna, and narrative-driven missions that take you on guided adventures around the world.
What's new in the native plugin?
- No more micro-stutters — the old Lua script caused brief freezes every 5 seconds. The new plugin runs with zero impact on your frame rate.
- Simpler install — one folder, no other plugins needed.
- Buil-in login window — no need to edit config files.
If you're upgrading from the Lua version, your saved login carries over automatically. Just delete the old `bushtalk.lua` script.
