New Delhi ( VIDP/DEL) custom scenery | X-plane 12

This add-on provides an updated custom scenery for Indira Gandhi International Airport (VIDP) in New Delhi, optimized for X-Plane 12. It includes improvements such as updated runway layouts, a revised taxiway network, and enhancements to Terminal 1. The scenery builds upon the original 3D models created by RC Avinash, with acknowledgments for his foundational work. This is Phase 1 of the project, with further updates planned to refine stand positions and object placements.

Description

📍 VIDP – Indira Gandhi International Airport (X-Plane 12 Updated Scenery)

 

FIRSTLY: This scenery uses Avinash C’s original VIDP scenery 3-D models .

He is currently unreachable and appears to have other priorities, so I have taken the liberty to update and adapt his work for X-Plane 12, including new taxiways, gates, and general layout improvements. Full credit for the original base scenery remains with RC Avinash (Avinash C).

 

✨ Phase 1 Release (Work Still in Progress)

 

This is Phase 1 of the updated VIDP scenery. A lot of work is still planned, including  stand-by-stand refinement and more accurate object placement.

Feedback and suggestions are always welcome for future updates and any current mistakes that really spoil the scenery.

( RWY29L/11R might have markings a bit messed up this is due to a bug with the sim )

Hello. I am so greatful that you picked up Avinash C’s original scenery and added the new runway. I found it so frustrating that there was no decent VIDP scenery out there, whereas this is one of the biggest airports in the world. I would give you 10 stars if I could. I will certainly support you in any future development of this amazing scenery. If this can help you further working on it, XP12 displays a loading error message when launching the airport.
