Tired of screenshots without context?
With SimScreen Overlay you can automatically display your flight info (aircraft + route) right on your X-Plane screenshots.

🛫 Features:

• Automatic import from SimBrief (Pilot ID).

• Editable fields for Aircraft, Departure, and Arrival ICAO — perfect for VFR or non-SimBrief flights.

• Clean overlay at the bottom-left corner of your screenshots.

• Overlay shows only for the capture (no clutter while flying).

• Custom screenshot command (key assignable in X-Plane settings).

⚙️ How it works:

1. Enter your SimBrief ID (or let it auto-import if you use Simload Manager).

2. Fetch your current OFP from SimBrief, or simply fill the fields manually.

3. Take a screenshot using the “SimScreen Overlay / Screenshot” command → overlay appears for that capture.

4. Adjust settings anytime via the FlyWithLua Macros → SimScreen Overlay: Settings window menu.

📋 Requirements:

• X-Plane 12

• FlyWithLua NG (latest version)

• (Optional) SimBrief account to fetch OFPs

📂 Installation:

1. Download the script file SimScreenOverlay.lua.

2. Place it into:

     X-Plane 12/Resources/plugins/FlyWithLua/Scripts/

3. Launch X-Plane.

4. Assign a key to the command FlyWithLua / SimScreen_Overlay / Screenshot in the X-Plane keyboard settings.

5. Open the settings window via Plugins → FlyWithLua Macros → SimScreen Overlay: Settings window.
