LATAM Airbus A319 History:
LATAM Group owns the A319 since 2003, with 2 units as LAN Express (CC-COU and CC-COX). In 2004, LAN Chile and LAN Express got merged as LAN Airlines. Between 2004 and 2011, LAN Recieved 21 more units of A319-132 (IAE). The 3 most recent units are A319-112 (CFM) delivered to LAN between 2011 and 2012. LAN Airlines flew the Airbus A319-100 in especially in Chile and Peru between 2004 and 2015. In that year LAN Airlines retired the A319 from chilean domestic flights and redelivered to LAN Peru and LAN Ecuador, and 1 unit to TAM (CC-CPX). Between 2017 and 2022, with the merge with TAM, LATAM redelivered 4 Airbus A319 to LATAM Brasil (HC-CPQ, CC-CPE, CC-BCE and CC-BCF) and renamed with brazilian registrations (PT-TMO, PT-TMT, PT-TPA and PT-TPB). LATAM Airlines Group currently owns 40 units of A319, equipped with 144 units of LAN Classic LOPA (B/E Aerospace Spectrum Seats) 13 on LATAM Peru, 7 on LATAM Ecuador, and 19 on LATAM Brasil.
